About Us

Many in body, one in mind…

Sacha and Michelle have been practising yoga together for a number of years as well as both practising Buddhism.  There spiritual connection for the creation of value and world peace has inspired them to unite their skills to share the power of yoga.  They share the same passion and beliefs in the benefits of a healthy mind, body and buddhahood.

Having trained within the same organisation they have symmetry and rhythm to their teaching styles yet bring twice the wealth of knowledge.  They both enable students to see their own unique potential. The synergy between them is portrayed in the teaching producing a dynamic, holistic, re vitalising, energising, releasing experience.

Michelle started her career in the health and fitness industry teaching exercise and fitness across London in 1989, which
then lead her to train in holistic massage in 1991. Michelle has now been established for over 17 years running a successful complementary therapies business. She has vast experience in various forms of massage, including therapeutic deep tissue massage, healing massage and hot stone therapy, Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Reiki as well as teaching Reiki as a Reiki Master.
After many years of practising and enjoying yoga she was encouraged to train as a yoga teacher and return to teaching, just in a different format from her previous exercise.  She now uses her therapies and yoga to look at the individual as a whole and strives to bring peace, harmony and balance, by utilising her many skills.
Through her own yoga practice and teaching she continues to learn and grow, deepening her awareness of yoga. She teaches flowing, releasing series of asanas (postures), invigorating pranayama (breathing), and deep relaxation thus connecting the body and mind, soul and heart, leaving you feeling whole. Michelle enjoys promoting a sense of well being within people, empowering them to change their lives for the better through yoga and therapies, thus enabling them to reveal their own full potential. Michelle is professional, caring, compassionate and down to earth.
Michelle practises Nichiren Daishonin’s Buddhism, which continues to support her yoga practise leading to a deeper understanding of her self and the beautiful journey of life in the here and now. She is honoured to be able to help others to do the same.

Sacha www.yogasach.co.uk

In 1994, Sacha’s first experience of yoga was under the incredible guidance of Giris Rabinovitch a master of Sivananda yoga. Inspired by his teachings Sacha continued to practice for 8 years with Giris and his amazing wife Niriani, alongside experiencing other teaching styles.  In 2002 Sacha qualified as a yoga teacher with Sivananda at their ashram in Kerala, South India.
With 14 years of experience Sacha’s teaching skills are eloquent and professional.  Her skills include teaching pranamyama (breathing), savasana (relaxation), meditation (dhyana) and a dynamic & organic flow of sequenced asana (postures).  She has enjoyed working for 6 years at various sports centers in central London, private, corporate and voluntary clients.
Since having children Sacha has diversified her teaching skills to encompass her life more fully and teaches yoga pre/post pregnancy, baby yoga and ‘child friendly’ yoga classes.
Sacha’s classes build up gradually helping you to stretch and strengthen your body while learning progressively challenging series of postures to cultivate your skills and body awareness.  After a class with Sacha you will feel taller, stronger and embodied with a general sensation of physical and mental wellbeing.
Sacha believes that everyone can benefit from practicing yoga and that each individuals practice is unique.  She enables people to get the best from their minds and bodies and strives to enable them to develop beyond their thoughts or beliefs.
